I first stumbled across this via an add on facebook. Interesting cover I thought, so I checked them out on YouTube and immediately ordered the vinyl. But what of the actual music? Well, it’s a wonderfull LP. Full of funky rock songs of the highest quality. It also has quirky elements, almost disjointed at times with background elements that just add to the enjoyment. Beware! The end of side one has it’s playout groove moved up, resuting in the playing arm remaining on the record. I must have sat here for a couple of minutes thinking the band had turned into some sort of minimalist electronic band until I realised what was happening. The start of side two starts exactly as side one ends; literally, with a single repeated keyboard note, very mid seventies John Carpenter! Once again the strangeness prevails halfway through the first track, this time I thought my record player was malfunctioning because of the slight slowing down and speeding up of the song at the rate the record spins.
It’s just a great, enjoyable, inventive mass of music, that at times reminds me of various bands old (and new) but manages to remain oringinal and consistent. I like the Jimi Hendrix reference.
I will be ordering the back catalogue!
One word to the band…. it’s beginning to seem like the English leg of your tour won’t be happening this year. All I ask is when you reschedule for next year; please add Rock City Nottingham to the tour, and a couple of back stage passes wouldn’t go amiss for me and the missus!

Thank’s guys! We received our pre-order and it’s on the turntable since then. Again, a very nice piece of funk! Keep the spirit up and we hope to see you in Munich when it’s possible again. Tried the download code included, but it does not work yet, will try again later.

This album is incredible!! I love all kinds of music and it’s great to have rock alive and well driven by a band and album like this. It fits perfectly well in 2020. Def one of my fav albums of the year!
